I came across this picture today while I was on facebook, and I honestly can't figure it out. I've been looking at it for 10 minutes and read it over a hundred times but I don't understand. Where is the missing dollar? Someone help me!!
That is very weird! I tried to figure it out too. I even did the math too.. hmm. There's got to be an explanation. Maybe if you google it you'll get an explanation?
Thats funny! I think it is actually just the way you look at it though. There really isn't a missing dollar, they just put it that way because they knew it would confuse people!

Wouldn't it be 49+49+1+1+1 = 101$? The sum still doesn't match up but this seems right, because they never added the dollar they already gave to both parents
i dont understand that one bit. i think the person did the math wrong. maybe one of us should bring it to a math teacher.
